Job Description

We are currently looking for a Press Brake Operator who can manufacture parts from metal using a computer numeric controlled (CNC) brake press. This position will require you to produce parts by making precision bends based on programming inputs by the controller.

Requirements and duties:
• Operate break press machine by using a CNC controller to input information into machine.
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
• Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments.
• Work with tight tolerances.
• Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures.
• Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned.
• Must know how to read a tape measure, drawings and blueprints
• Must be able to work on a team or independent, but be self-motivated

Specific qualifications:
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Background in manufacturing or warehouse work a plus
• Must be able to work overtime
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. During an 8-10 hours shift the employee maybe required to stand, climb ladders, use hand tools (power and manual), feel and reach with hands and arms. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and you will be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions including temperatures ranging from 60°F to 90°F. This position is full time, working hours vary between 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and can include daily overtime and weekends, as needed.
