Job Description

Role & Responsibilities


- Perform mechanical and electrical failure diagnoses and repairs on advanced industrial equipment.


- Equipment types include pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, programmable logic and computer controlled systems used to produce PEX A Pipe and PVC gaskets.


- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance task ensuring equipment production readiness at all times.


- Perform calibration on equipment - Communicate with coworkers and


management personnel both verbally and written whereby information may be passed that is critical for production readiness.


- Work on projects as necessary for improvements or production growth.


- Respond to trouble calls in a timely manner eliminating unnecessary downtime.


- Find root cause of failures eliminating repeat failures for the same issue.


- Have a troubleshooting strategy which will aid in finding and repairing failures quickly.



Skills/Experience


- Associate Degree in a Maintenance related field or 10 year on the job experience; Basic Mathematical Skills


- Ability to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.


- Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people


- Experienced in diagnoses and repair of complex automated equipment


- Be able to read and comprehend electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings/schematics.


- Experience with maintaining extrusion dies. Tool and Die experience preferred.


- Ability to travel Internationally for training purposes


Job Requirements

  • Assist metrology with electrical troubleshooting
  • Replace or repairs mechanical and electrical components
  • Maintain electrical wiring and connectors
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams
  • Maintain, repair and troubleshoot all electrical issues
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair duties not related to electrical systems
  • Exercising a variety of electrical and electronic skills to maintain, install, and repair plant equipment electrical systems and facility electrical system
  • Shooting, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and / or systems
  • Recommend specifications for new electrical equipment
  • Install and repair electrical systems and electrical components on industrial machinery and in factory settings
